This blog shows the fact that professional athletes are out of control and believe that they are above the law. The way that this man talked about an official’s dead child is repulsive and shows he is not willing to take responsibility for his own actions. Also the way that the league gave him merely a slap on the wrist shows how they are afraid of disciplining the athletes.

Issues in my classroom

Three issues that I believe will be important in my classroom will be bullying, cheating, and technology. The subject of bullying has always and will always be a key issue in not only my classroom but also every classroom in every school. Students self esteem is a key element in developing into a productive part of society, it is our job as teachers to get students ready to become one of these pieces of society. When students are being bullied there self esteem is damaged and then they do not learn up to their potential. Stopping bullying is near to impossible due to technology and the way that the world is interlocked.

In 1935 baseball took a turn that would change its face for the rest of history. This change is not the pinch hitter, or the use of steroids, this was the institution of night games. This change allowed the baseball to compete with the television stations during thier prime time hours. This blog is a great site for random facts and interesting little tid bits.
